Amanda Blake
Amanda Blake, born as Beverly Louise Neill, was an incredibly popular American actor. Her most famous role was being the actress who played the character of Miss Kitty Russell in the TV show 'Gunsmoke'. She was also known for her role in a variety of television series including "The Red Skelton Show,' 'Tattletales,' and The Edge of Night. She also acted in dozens of films like 'Stars In My Crown' 'Duchess Of Idaho', 'Cattle Town and 'Miss Robin Crusoe'in "About Mrs. Leslie', 'The Adventures Hajji Baba', 'High Society' as well as 'The Boost'. A former telephone operator, Blake was an avid animal lover. She and her partner Frank Gilbert and she were among the first to successfully breed Cheetahs. She was one of co-founders with her husband Frank Gilbert of Arizona Animal Welfare League. Even as a board member of Humane Society of the United States Blake's career has a long history. Talking about the honours Blake was awarded She was inducted into the Hall of Great Western Performers of National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. In addition, the American Cancer Society also gave her a Courage Award.
