Aahoo Jahansouzshahi, born January 10, 1980), known professionally as Sarah Shahi is an American actress and former model. She played the role of actress played Carmen in The L Word 2005. Kate Reed, USA Network's legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-12), and Sameen Shaw in the CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012)-2016. [2] She was also a part of the main Det. Dani Reese in Life,[3] as well as in a supporting role in Alias. The actress was also part of the cast of Reverie in 2018. She was a recurring character in City on a Hill on Showtime in 2019[5]. She was also a part of seven episodes of The Rookie playing the role of Jessica Russo in the romantic romance Jessica Russo. Shahi met Robert Altman on the set Dr. T and the Women in Texas. She was encouraged by Altman to move to Hollywood and was cast in Alias and Dawson's Creek. She was in the second season's second-in-command for DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales, on The L Word in 2005. Shahi's two-year contract was not renewed after the end of the fourth season, and her character was written off.
